Yuba County Mounted Sheriff's Posse
Annual Trail Ride

The Trail Ride, held the first Sunday of May, is an annual activity where you leisurely ride through a laid out course in the Yuba County foothills.

The course is approximately 11 miles long and is located on the University Field Station, approximately 4 miles east of Browns Valley. Horses are advised to be shod for their comfort and for the rider's comfort as well.

The riders will stop midway through the ride to enjoy a lunch break (lunch provided by the rider) before continuing the ride to the dinner bar-b-que site, which is along side the Yuba River.

Registration, on site, begins at 7:30 a.m. with the ride beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m. Dinner is served at the conclusion of the ride (approximately 3:00 p.m.). The ride & dinner is $15.00.
